I stayed for 3 nights and it was SPECIAL, located in a safe area right by the river as well as good restaurants.

You can use a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave oven and a refrigerator.

The place by the riverside was beautiful and had amenities like an iron, coffee/tea facilities, and a television.

Thank you for very nice stay, having setting near to shops and restaurants. The location is just marvellous and peaceful, 10 minutes walk from The Way. Plus, it is right by the river, Durham town centre and cathedral and Durham.

We had a wonderful time at Riverside Retreat! James, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even providing new bedding for our newborn. The apartment had everything we could possibly need and more, and the location was both quiet and central. The welcome pack, complete with prosecco and strawberries, was a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with beautiful views of the river. our experience at Riverside Retreat was exceptional.

The location of this retreat is amazing, as it is just a short walk away from a vibrant night club. Additionally, the bathroom is well-equipped with a hair dryer, walk-in shower, and terry dressing gowns.

The apartment was absolutely amazing! It had a luxurious feel with all the fixtures and fittings. The balcony overlooking the river was a superb sun trap and provided a great spot to relax. The attention to detail was outstanding - we received a lovely welcome tray of prosecco and a hamper of food, which made us feel very welcomed. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The host, James, was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for nearby restaurants and even arranging a taxi for us. The central location was also a major plus, making it easy to explore the city.

Honestly, I can't think of anything negative during our stay. It was simply a perfect Easter getaway.
